at Dancing Peacock Paradise, Ft. McCoy, Florida

May 24-25 (Memorial Day Weekend) 2003

with John E. Ridder

Labyrinth consultant, designer, builder, & speaker,

with assistants Dhyana Raynor & Gail Fisher & us!

Touch the earth with your feet,

touch the holy with our heart ...”

We will measure & lay out a 50-foot sand & stone Chartres-style labyrinth on the lake-view slope in the woods above the Gazebo at Beauty Lake.  Everyone will get the benefit of John's experience, wisdom, & stories as he guides us in manifesting a local labyrinth.

The mornings will be spent measuring, marking, & outlining the labyrinth.  Afternoons will be free for relaxing, socializing & lakefront activities.  Saturday evening we will share music, spiritual practices, & Dancing.

John E. Ridder

Since first walking the labyrinth in 1993, John has created labyrinths for churches, retreat centers, monasteries, hospitals, universities, retirement homes, communities, & recently, the Winter Olympics.  He is a founding member of the Labyrinth Society & founder of the Indiana Labyrinth Coalition.

Through his work & his website, www.PAXworks.com, John shares his passion for the labyrinth with the world.  From his background as a banker, business consultant, & church-worker, he offers a broad perspective on the mysteries of the labyrinth

The following weekend, John will present “Creating A Labyrinth” at the Labyrinth Festival of New England.  We are fortunate that he could slip this time in Florida into his schedule.

With his expertise at “birthing” a labyrinth, and his guidance through  the development process, we are sure to have an authentic, beautiful, sacred spot to cradle our feet & tune our hearts.

The culmination of the weekend will be …
